Apex Launcher raggiunge il pieno supporto a Jelly Bean

Vi avevamo già parlato di Apex launcher e di come fosse considerato uno dei migliori launcher per Android Ice Cream Sandwich ed ora, finalmente, anche di Jelly Bean. Grazie al nuovo aggiornamento è stata aggiunta la piena compatibilità con il nuovo sistema operativo Android, anche se si tratta di una versione in fase beta e che quindi bisogna installare manualmente.

Come vi abbiamo detto, essendo una beta (per la precisione la v1.3.0beta1) non è ancora disponibile nel Google Play Store e per installarlo dovete andare in Apex setting -> About Apex Launcher -> Automatically check for updates -> beta version, oppure potete scaricare la beta da questo indirizzo, copiarla nella vostra SD ed installarla manualmente tramite un qualunque file manager.

Oltre alla piena compatibilità con Jelly Bean, ci sono molte altre novità:

Rebuilt based on Android 4.1.1 Launcher, lots of JellyBean goodness
- When placing widgets on the screen, everything else automatically moves to make room
- When they are too big, widgets resize on their own to fit on the homescreen
- Quickly remove apps/widgets by flinging them to the edge of the homescreen
- Major performance boost for homescreen and drawer
- New app enter/exit animations (JB only)
- Switched to phone layout on 7″ tablets (e.g., Nexus 7)
- Added background for widgets in the drawer
- Fixed icon ordering bug within folders
Other improvements and bugfixes
- Unlimited drawer tabs and new drawer management UI (pro)
- Improved drawer tab switching for vertical drawers (pro)
- Fixed Play Store widgets on JellyBean
- Fixed paid theme (icon pack) issue on JellyBean
- Lots of other improvements and enhancements
- Updated translations

Come vedete, sono stati corretti anche alcuni bug fastidiosi che compromettevano la stabilità e la fluidità di Apex, ed inoltre sono state aggiunte nuove funzioni ed aggiornate le traduzioni. Potete reperire ulteriori informazioni sulla beta e seguire i prossimi aggiornamenti attraverso il post di XDA. Probabilmente la versione stabile arriverà a giorni e, se volete avere la vecchia versione, la potete trovare nel Google Play Store oppure potete scaricarla tramite il bottone in basso.
